No sooner had we reported on forest's latest loan signing before it came to light that it was over before it had even started. Following on the the news that Hoskin's loan move was cut short due to injury, the club today announced that Dimitrios Konstantopoulos had sustained an injury in his first training session with the club.
Konstantopoulos, who had joined Forest on loan for the remainder of the season from Coventry, sustained an Achilles tendon problem in the closing stages of this morning's session.
The unlucky former Greece Under 21 international has ruptured the tendon in his right leg and must undergo surgery.
On the plus side at least i won't have to try and spell the guy's name again!
