Nottingham Forest have anounced a 10% increase on season ticket prices for next season - hopefully to bolster Colin Calderwood's Championship transfer kitty.

The Reds have raised prices between 7-13% around various areas of the ground, to put them in line with "similar-sized" clubs in the second tier of English football.

But chief executive Mark Arthur says the decision was also made to ensure Forest have a squad capable of challenging. "We want to give Colin Calderwood the best possible chance," he said.

After three seasons in League One, the Reds will be pitting their wits next season against arch local rivals Derby - as well as both Sheffield clubs, along with Wolves, Coventry and Southampton.

Season tickets go on sale from 9am on Monday and range from £349 for renewals in the Trent End to £517 in parts of the Main Stand. Forest cut selected prices last season, when they failed to win promotion via the play-offs from League One.
