Forest striker Grant Holt has joined League Two Shrewsbury for an undisclosed fee. Calderwood deemed the big target man to be surplus to requirements at the City Ground last season and was allowed to join Blackpool on loan for the final month of Forest's promotion push. Holt had been player of the season in the 2006/07 campaign, when he was also the club's top scorer, netting 17 goals. It is understood that the Reds had accepted bids from both Shrewsbury and Holt's former club, Rochdale, who Forest paid £300,000 for the 27-year-old's services in January 2006.
