Northern Ireland International Sammy Clingan has joined the likes of Kris Commons, Junior Agogo and Matty Lockwood in leaving the City Ground. His contract expires on July 1st and he's decided to join Championship rivals Norwich City.
Clingan, 24 joined forest in January 2006, and although not what you'd call an 'exciting' player, he still turned in a good performance more often than not, and i for one think forest will miss him. Some will say it'll give youngsters like Thornhill and Mcgugan a chance, but neither of those are especially good at defending. Whats more, why help bolster our rivals by letting him leave?
The big question is who's next? Grant Holt?
